Outline
You’ll be supporting Simon, a young man with a learning disability and autism living in his own flat, as he strives to lead a life that makes sense to him. Simon is full of energy and enjoys outside activities such as baseball, football, going on bike rides or going for long walks.
He has a love of music, especially the 80 ‘s and loves dancing. He attends weekly music sessions and has even made a record. Recently Simon has learned to ski and would love someone who would be able to go on the slopes with him. Simon also enjoys trampolining, movies and going out for a curry.
One day a week he needs supporting to the local horticulture centre where he works. Simon has communication difficulties and would benefit from someone who can use Makaton or is prepared to learn.
