Financial Accountant

Full Time / Part Time

Office based – Stamford

Hours and pay negotiable for the right candidate

The Job

·         Responsible for a portfolio of clients of various size in various industry sectors

·         Sales reconciliation for retail clients to various web sales platforms (websales, NOTHS, Amazon) and to different payment platforms (paypal, stripe etc)

·         Key contact and issue resolution for client’s customers and suppliers

·         Full Trial Balance reconciliation

·         Process improvement and controls

·         Implementation of technology where appropriate, efficient and cost effective to both Brooks and Partners and client.

·         Management Accounts reporting and cashflow reporting

·         Reconciliation of key taxes to HMRC, ie PAYE and VAT

·         Trouble shooting

·         GDPR Compliance

 

The Person

·         Qualified or QBE

·         Strong communicator, both written and verbal.

·         Strong IT and digital skills, particularly with cloud based accounting software.

·         Experience of bookkeeping and financials controls.

·         Experience of finalising TB for Statutory accounts prep

·         Good excel and data management skills

·         Team Player

·         Ability to Multi Task

·         Deadline driven
